Group Fitness classes are free for MAC members to enjoy! Classes are drop in, so no registration is required, detailed class descriptions are listed below the weekly calendar. View Fall Fitness class schedule (PDF).

Monday's

  • 12 p.m. Yoga Flow with Tsechu
    Join us for an energizing Yoga Flow class that seamlessly weaves together movement and breath. This dynamic session will guide you through a series of sun salutations, standing poses, and balance sequences, designed to build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Suitable for all levels, each flow is an opportunity to cultivate awareness and find your rhythm. Expect to leave feeling refreshed, centered, and connected to your body and breath.
  • 2 p.m. Mat Pilates with Maya
    As in most traditional Pilates classes, we aim to address strength and flexibility to improve posture, balance, and coordination. We focus intentionally on our breath as a guide for movement, improve mobility in the spine, activate the core for support, and tone all muscle groups to experience a holistic full body workout. Simply put, we can think of this as a core conditioning class! The non-traditional flare that Maya adds into the practice is a need for big movement. Integrating all the individual working parts, we accumulate to a fast-paced flow that builds heat and endurance. Most importantly, Maya aims to provide a supportive connection to work collectively in empowering our bodies. Class is for all ages and levels, with one-on-one assistance that includes feedback and modifications. Students can touch base with Maya to express goals and/or injuries pertinent to their practice, and she is always available to chat more about bodies and Pilates!
  • 4 p.m. Level UP: Power and Agility Lab with Sandro
    Build speed. Build power. Build confidence. This class is for students and athletes who want to improve quickness, jump higher, react faster, and change direction with control and power. Each week we’ll train with plyometrics—explosive movements like jumps, power strides, and rapid directional shifts that develop speed, strength, and reactivity. Combined with acceleration and deceleration drills, reaction challenges, and sport-specific movement patterns, you’ll leave faster, stronger, and more agile. Whether you play basketball, soccer, volleyball, or racket sports, the Power & Agility Lab will help you Level UP

Tuesday's

  • 2 p.m. Grounded and Release Yoga with Ife
    Join us for a calming practice to settle your energy, release tension, and reconnect with balance.
  • 4:30 p.m. Aikido Martial Arts: Aikido Kokikai for Absolute Beginners with David
    Surprise yourself and try something unexpected! Aikido is a modern expression of traditional martial arts from Japan. Our training is fun, challenging and completely supportive and cooperative. We welcome everybody who is curious about martial arts and isn’t looking for combat or competition. No experience and no particular level of fitness is needed. Drop in once in a while or make it a regular practice to continue developing new skills and confidence. Training includes guided warm-ups, instruction and practice of nonviolent self-defense techniques, and mind-body development exercises. Wear comfortable clothes you can be active in. Bring your friends with you or make new ones at practice. Come find your flow!
  • 6 p.m. Contemporary Dance (All Levels) with Leah
    Curious about contemporary dance? This class is perfect for movers of all backgrounds who want to explore a variety of contemporary dance techniques ranging from floorwork to release technique, and improvisation in an inclusive, playful and non-judgemental environment. We’ll focus on building versatility and confidence, with exercises that prioritize fluid movement, body awareness, creativity and personal expression. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your movement vocabulary, this class offers tools to explore and grow in a supportive, all-levels setting. Come as you are and let’s move with joy!

    Join us for an uplifting flow that builds heat, boosts energy, and invites you to play with new poses.
  • 12:15 p.m. SHiNE Dance Fitness with Jess
    Rooted in jazz, ballet, and hip-hop, SHiNE™️ Dance Fitness is a high-energy, confidence-boosting class designed for all levels and backgrounds. With a “you do you” approach, participants are encouraged to take up space and move in ways that feel good to them. Each class offers a well-balanced workout that leaves you feeling stronger, uplifted, and more connected—mind and body. See you on the dance floor!

    Our class offers hands-on training where participants learn the fundamentals of boxing, including footwork, punches, and defensive maneuvers. But the benefits extend far beyond the gym. Through rigorous training, you'll cultivate resilience, discipline, and mental toughness—qualities that will empower you in all aspects of life.   • 6 p.m. Weight Training Lab with Sandro
    Weight Training Lab is a unique class designed to help anyone and everyone. Instead of a traditional class where everyone is weight training together or doing a certain workout, this class is your chance to come with any questions about weight training exercises, program design, advanced movements, and general health and wellness. The instructor will meet participants in the fitness studio to sign in for class and have a brief check in before going down to the weight room.
