12:30 p.m. Mat Pilates with Maya
As in most traditional Pilates classes, we aim to address strength and flexibility to improve posture, balance, and coordination. We focus intentionally on our breath as a guide for movement, improve mobility in the spine, activate the core for support, and tone all muscle groups to experience a holistic full body workout. Simply put, we can think of this as a core conditioning class! The non-traditional flair that Maya adds into the practice is a need for big movement. Integrating all the individual working parts, we accumulate to a fast-paced flow that builds heat and endurance. Most importantly, Maya aims to provide a supportive connection to work collectively in empowering our bodies. Class is for all ages and levels, with one-on-one assistance that includes feedback and modifications. Students can touch base with Maya to express goals and/or injuries pertinent to their practice, and she is always available to chat more about bodies and Pilates! -
2 p.m. Reset and Restore Yoga with Dorinda
Reset & Restore is a slower-paced class focused on relaxation, recovery, and nervous system balance. Through gentle stretching, restorative postures, and guided breathwork, students are encouraged to release tension and reconnect with their breath and body. This class offers a supportive environment to decompress from academic stress and restore energy.
